The RB5022 is a specially engineered Hydraulic Buffer with dual stage damping for the Rock Island Armory VR80 application. This is a drop-in replacement for the standard buffer. This buffers weight, damping, and length have been optimized for the VR80 application so that it runs reliably, softens recoil, smooths out the action, and reduces muzzle rise.
