The CZ 75 was originally created as a replacement for the CZ 70, a new export handgun primarily for Western markets. Compared with this late 1940s design, the differences were night and day. The grip is supported by easily accessible magazine release, slide release, and manual safety, all within reach, making operation smooth and natural. To make the SA/DA trigger much lighter and more consistent, a first-class lever was used instead of a second-class lever. This gave CZ an edge over SA/DA triggers during its original production. The CZ 75 LEGEND is the reintroduction of a timeless classic.
