Introduced by B&T in 2001, the MP9/TP9 represents the latest advancement in personal defense weapons and is one of the world's lightest select-fire 9x19mm weapon systems. Ideal for surveillance teams, vehicle crews, strike forces, and PSD details - the MP9 surpasses all other submachine guns in size, weight, and flexibility. It excels as a highly concealable subcompact weapon system capable of engaging threat personnel with a high-volume of accurate, lethal fire at close ranges, use in and around vehicles or within confined spaces. The MP9/TP9 boasts clean, streamlined features inclusive of ambidextrous controls and a unique barrel shroud that doubles as a large tri-lug mount for quickly attaching a reduced back pressure suppressor designed specifically for the platform. Eighty percent of the entire weapon is made of an advanced polymer composite, with an overall weight of just 1.4kg. In fact, three full 30-round magazines weigh more than the entire weapon does. Several different belt and drop leg holsters are available, as are a selection of concealment bags for discreet carriage, both in suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.
