Ruger's Gunsite Scout Rifle is developed with Gunsite, it has the Gunsite name rollmarked on the receiver. It features a forward-mounted Picatinny rail; ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight and a non-glare, blade front sight; integral scope mounts, are machined directly on the solid-steel receiver which provides a stable mounting surface; non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects the empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward; free-floated, cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling; three-position safety; sling swivel studs; detachable box magazine with push-forward magazine release and a soft rubber buttpad with buttpad spacers.
