Formerly known as the 1895 GBL, this rifle is the first alloy steel, blued, Ruger-made Marlin rifle. Chambered in .45-70 Govt. the Model 1895 Guide Gun features six-round tubular magazine with a loading gate located on the receiver; soft rubber buttpad; positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and traditional half-cock hammer and laminate buttstock and forend with sharp checkering.
